연구목적
한국사회에서 HIV 감염인이 경험하는 의료차별 실태를 드러냄으로써 차별의 양상과 의미
를 파악하고 이를 해결할 수 있는 법정책적 대안을 마련하고자 하였다. 나아가 HIV 감염인의
전반적인 인권과 건강권을 증진할 수 있는 구체적인 방법을 모색하여 사회전반에 만연하고
있는 HIV/AIDS에 대한 편견과 낙인을 감소시키고 HIV 감염인의 인권증진에 기여하고자 하
였다.
